Virginia FACS State Curricula Includes Mental Health

In October, Diana was a participant on the Virginia Family and Consumer Sciences curriculum review committee.  The committee was responsible for updating the competencies for the Introduction to Family and Human Services and Family and Human Services I/II state curricula.  Mental Health competencies were approved by the team to be expanded and an additional mental health section was added to ensure that mental health is in balance with physical health.
