EHHS FBLA Partners With MASK OFF Program
The East Hardy High School Future Business Leaders of America is partnering with Mastering Mental Health. The name of the partnership project is Mask Off: Business Partnership Brings Awareness to Mental Health.
During the 2017-18 school year, the East Hardy High School Future Business Leaders of America is collaborating with Diana Ketterman, Mental Health Educator, Author, and Speaker. Mrs. Ketterman is a West Virginia native and owner of Mastering Mental Health. The three goals of our business partnership are to:
- Erase the Stigma of Mental Illness;
- Educate to Identify, Understand and Build resilience to Mental Health; and,
- Build Community Connections.
Mastering Mental Health will provide on-site student education as well as curriculum to educate students on many mental health concepts including: how to maintain hope, build resiliency, and develop critical thinking skills to address problems. Through this partnership we are fostering the whole community approach by connecting with local resources, business, and state and national representatives.
