Out of the Shadows, Into the Light

Diana' story sets the stage in the opening chapter of the just released book, Out of the Shadows, Into the Light, published by the National Institute for Civil Discourse (NICD) and Creating Community Solutions (CCS).  The new book highlights the impact of a multi-year effort led by NICD and CCS, in response to President Obama's call for a National Conversation on Mental Health, to get Americans talking about mental health and addressing priorities in their community.
