From teacher Shelley Carpenter,

"I am a sixth grade teacher at a middle school in West Virginia. I completed Diana Ketterman’s program with this workbook, Making Sense of Me during a nine week period. I used the workbook and the lesson plans she created for each lesson.

The purpose of this student workbook is to enlighten children about senses and emotions. It goes into further detail by discussing memories, anxiety and depression, and building resilience.

I am very pleased after going through this workbook with my 24 students. They were engaged and excited, and it was nice to see some of the ‘quiet’ students open up about their feelings. I enjoyed teaching the content of this workbook. It makes me think back to when I was at the middle school age, wishing someone at school discussed the topic of feelings and emotions with me.

This mental health workbook is great to use as a curriculum to assist students to learn more about themselves and life. It is obvious that Diana Ketterman has done much research in preparing this workbook. I highly encourage not just educators, but also parents, to look into this workbook!"
